Manage leads in the CRM
Work your pipeline: statuses, follow-up dates, notes, and converting a lead into a scheduled client.

Open your pipeline
Go to Leads. Every lead shows Name, Contact, Address, Dogs, Frequency, Status, Follow-up, and when it was Submitted. Leads flow in from your quote form and marketing funnel, and you can add them manually for phone-ins.
- 2
Move leads through statuses
The pipeline runs Contacted → Qualified → Quoted → Converted, with Lost for the ones that fizzle. Update the status the moment something happens — a pipeline you can trust at a glance is the whole point. When you mark a lead Lost, add the reason; patterns in lost reasons tell you whether it's price, coverage, or response time.

Set follow-up dates
Every open lead needs a follow-up date — use Set in the Follow-up column. Filter the list to today's follow-ups each morning and work them first. "They didn't answer" isn't a dead lead; it's a follow-up for Thursday.

Log notes on the lead
Open a lead to see its full detail and add notes: what you quoted, what they said, gate situation, dog names. Future-you (or a hire) should be able to pick up the thread cold from the notes alone.

Convert the winners
When a lead says yes, convert them from the lead's page — Scooper carries their name, contact, address, dog count, and frequency into a client record so you never retype anything. Then set up their recurring schedule and they're on the route. The lead is marked Converted and counts toward your funnel stats.
